The Light & Power Employees Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. (LPECCUL) is excited to announce the return of its Youth Forum, an inspiring one-day workshop set for Friday, August 8th, 2025 (8:30 am – 3:30 pm). 

Hosted in collaboration with the National Museum of Barbados, the programme includes guided historical tours, behind-the-scenes visits to the Credit Union League and Co-operators General Insurance, and an interactive financial literacy session tailored for young minds. Aimed at youth aged 9 to 17, this revitalised forum combines fun, learning, and leadership development in a single immersive experience. 

This year’s theme, “Empowering Youth through Heritage, Finance & Community,” reflects LPECCUL’s commitment to educating and empowering the next generation of financial leaders. Participants will also receive a Certificate of Participation, which will be beneficial for those students applying for the Trevor Browne Scholarship.

Attendance is free for all existing junior members and new sign-ups, while non-members can join for just $60, which includes a complimentary junior account.
